I made a baby quilt for my friend's little girl.
I was going to try to do the quilting myself, but I REALLY hate working with the minky material (which is on the back of the quilt) because it is so stretchy. So I took it into my local quilting shop.
It took 2 months to get done! (Holy cow!)
The DAY I was taking the (below mentioned) blessing dress to Emily's parents house to be delivered to another state, I was able to pick up the quilt!
I had to stop by my Mom's house for some quick pictures because I LOVED everything about it! :)
Last, but certainly not least. Emily sent me some pictures of little Sophia sporting her blessing dress:
Thanks for the pictures Emily! Sophia looks GORGEOUS!

WOW! That is all I can say, WOW! I love the dress (way to go!) and the quilt! They highlight the beautiful little girls so well. I am very impressed!
So does this mean you will take orders on dresses!?
If you can tell Emily I want to be invited to see her blog again. My address is conley0463@yahoo(dot)com
Thanks
Hi Jakobi!
I let Emily know about adding you-
If you need/want a little girls blessing dress, of course I would take an 'order' :)
The quilt is very cute. Have you made any other quilts that you have quilted yourself? Did you actually quilt on a frame or with a machine? Nice work!
What a beautiful quilt! I love the pattern and everything! Great job!!! I love the colors too! Your amazing!
I love the quilt so much! It is the cutest thing ever and it is super soft! Thank again so much. And I can't wait to put Sophie back in her blessing dress in 2 weeks!!! It really is beautiful-even more beautiful in person! Love you Lish!
